About the Position

EK SkyCargo is seeking a Cargo Operations Agent to support the safe, efficient, and high-quality handling of cargo, courier shipments, and mail within designated warehouse and airside operational areas.

The successful candidate will help ensure that cargo operations meet established service, productivity, safety, and security standards. The role includes coordinating cargo movements, supervising operational activities, checking shipments and equipment, and supporting the smooth loading and unloading of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cargo Operations Agent, your main duties will include:

• Supervise and direct teams involved in cargo, courier, and mail handling operations.
• Conduct safety awareness briefings for assigned team members.
• Inspect, verify, and accurately count cargo during acceptance, delivery, breakdown, and build-up activities.
• Ensure shipments are handled according to established operational procedures.
• Update shipment and cargo information in the Skychain system to maintain accurate tracking records.
• Coordinate with customs, health authorities, police, and other relevant government agencies.
• Monitor cargo movements and help ensure shipments are processed within required timelines.
• Check operational equipment and report issues that could affect safety or service quality.
• Maintain required safety, security, and cargo-handling standards throughout operations.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Completion of 10 years of schooling or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in cargo, freight, logistics, or a similar operational environment.
• Good knowledge of cargo-handling procedures and warehouse or airside operations.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based and operational environment.
