Position Overview

Salmon Farm LLC is seeking an experienced Storekeeper to join its warehouse team in Dubai Investment Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock movements, and ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently in accordance with company policies and food safety standards.

This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or stock management within the food manufacturing, FMCG, or seafood sectors.

Key Responsibilities

As a Storekeeper, your responsibilities will include:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and products.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock availability.
• Issue materials and supplies following approved warehouse procedures.
• Ensure proper storage of goods using FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices.
• Conduct routine stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation activities.
• Monitor inventory movements and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation and inventory reports.
• Follow company quality standards and health and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in warehouse operations.
• Experience in the food manufacturing, FMCG, or seafood industry is preferred.
• Good understanding of inventory management and warehouse procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems will be an advantage.

Skills Required

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Strong inventory and stock control knowledge.
• Working knowledge of FIFO and FEFO inventory systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience using ERP software.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
