Role Overview

As an Equipment Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth ground handling and airside operations. This includes operating ground support equipment (GSE), assisting with baggage and cargo handling, and supporting aircraft turnaround activities in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate motorized ground support equipment.
• Conduct inspection checks on assigned equipment.
• Assist in loading and unloading aircraft as per instructions.
• Marshal vehicles and ensure safe movements around aircraft.
• Manage ULD and trolley staging areas.
• Escort and assist passengers requiring ambulance support.
• Report equipment defects and coordinate repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum high school education (10 years of schooling).
• At least 2 years of experience operating ground support equipment.
• Valid UAE/GCC driving license.
• Basic communication and safety awareness.
• On-the-job training in airport operations.
• Familiarity with Human Factors Training (HFT) and Dangerous Goods Training (DGT).
