About the Role

Etihad Airways Engineering is seeking an experienced Manager Warehousing to lead and oversee warehouse operations that support aircraft maintenance activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient handling of aviation materials, including receiving, inspection, storage, quarantine management, inventory control, and dispatch operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting engineering and maintenance teams with timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities

As Manager Warehousing, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily warehouse operations and ensuring smooth workflow execution.
• Overseeing receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.
• Implementing and enforcing warehouse procedures, policies, and operational standards.
• Optimizing warehouse layout, storage utilization, and material handling processes.
• Monitoring operational costs and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and aviation regulatory requirements.
• Managing the storage and handling of dangerous goods in accordance with aviation regulations.
• Ensuring proper preservation, protection, and traceability of aircraft parts and materials.
• Supervising quarantine procedures and disposal of non-conforming or expired materials.
• Supporting hangar maintenance, line maintenance, and workshop operations through effective material management.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing warehouse personnel to achieve operational excellence.
• Managing warehouse management systems, including Oracle and AMOS.
• Preparing operational reports and maintaining accurate warehouse data records.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality.

Qualifications Required

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Previous experience within aviation, aerospace, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), or technical environments is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse operations and inventory control systems.
