About the Position

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will play a vital role in managing customer accounts, trade spend, and financial reconciliations. The role supports core finance operations by ensuring accurate accounting entries, compliance with UAE regulations, and timely financial reporting.

This position requires hands-on experience with SAP, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional attention to detail— illustrates particularly important in high-volume FMCG environments. The accountant will collaborate closely with internal finance teams, suppliers, and principals to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing trade spend accounting and ensuring accurate and timely postings
  • Performing payment reconciliations with suppliers and principals
  • Handling rebate management systems and related accounting entries
  • Posting debit notes in SAP and maintaining precise financial records
  • Raising and following up on supplier claims with proper documentation
  • Posting and reviewing monthly expenses in line with company policies
  • Utilizing SAP and advanced Excel for reporting, analysis, and financial tracking

These responsibilities are critical to maintaining strong financial controls and supporting informed business decisions.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within the FMCG sector
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel
