Job Overview
The Administrative Assistant – Housekeeping supports the overall management of housekeeping operations through effective coordination, supervision, and documentation. This role involves maintaining records, assisting supervisors, monitoring operational areas, and contributing to a flawless guest experience in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor housekeeping areas including guest floors, public areas, linen rooms, storerooms, and offices
- Prepare and track weekly and monthly inventories of linen, uniforms, and housekeeping supplies
- Maintain housekeeping pantries and oversee material distribution
- Supervise room attendants, public area cleaners, and linen room staff to ensure adequate coverage
- Prepare staff rosters, attendance records, uniforms, and time sheets
- Assist with room inspections to meet LQA and brand standards
- Conduct quality checks on cleaned and vacant rooms
- Manage lost and found items in accordance with hotel policies
- Maintain accurate laundry, linen, and uniform records
- Ensure housekeeping equipment is well maintained and report maintenance issues promptly
- Handle daily checklists, reports, and departmental communication
- Support supervisors during peak operations and act as order taker when required
Safety, Quality & Guest Service Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and safety across all housekeeping work areas
- Report health and safety hazards without delay
- Interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues
- Provide operational support during emergencies as per hotel guidelines
- Assist with staff training records, safety meetings, and departmental briefings
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a team leader or supervisory role
- Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel
- High school diploma required (college education preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Physically capable of handling operational hotel requirements
