Role Overview

Job Vacancy: Equipment Operator

Key Responsibilities

As an Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and on-time flight operations. Your main duties include:

• Operating Ground Support Equipment (GSE) such as tugs, tractors, conveyors, and high-loaders safely around aircraft
• Transporting baggage, cargo, and mail between aircraft and terminal areas
• Performing routine pre-operation checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly
• Supporting aircraft loading and unloading in line with approved load plans
• Coordinating with ramp supervisors and dispatch teams to meet tight turnaround schedules
• Reporting equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the maintenance team

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidate Profile

• Education: Minimum high school qualification (at least 10 years of formal education)
• Experience: 0–2 years in Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operations or a similar industrial/driving role
• Driving License: Valid UAE or GCC driving license is mandatory
• Communication Skills: Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 5 years of aviation or ground handling operational experience
• At least 3 years of experience producing aircraft weight and balance documentation
• Valid Weight and Balance Licence
• Knowledge of Altea or other load control systems
