Job Role Overview

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse and delivery operations while leading large teams in high-volume environments. You will collaborate closely with Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants, Delivery Service Providers, and associates to ensure safety, productivity, and service quality targets are consistently achieved.

This role plays a critical part in Amazon’s commitment to fast, reliable, and customer-focused delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Manage daily logistics and fulfillment activities across AMZL and FC operations
• Plan labor allocation and conduct team briefings
• Supervise teams of 30–40 associates per shift
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards

Team Management & Development

• Lead, coach, and motivate operational teams
• Foster a positive, safe, and performance-driven work culture
• Ensure full adherence to Amazon Health & Safety policies

Performance & Metrics Management

• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Identify root causes of performance gaps
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives

Process Improvement & Problem Solving

• Identify workflow inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Apply analytical thinking and “Dive Deep” problem-solving methods
• Act as a subject matter expert on core operational processes

Communication & Collaboration

• Share daily metrics, risks, and operational updates clearly
• Work with cross-functional and external stakeholders
• Influence decisions using clear, data-driven communication

Technology & Inventory Management

• Use operational systems, tools, and hardware efficiently
• Support new system implementations and process rollouts
• Maintain accurate inventory and reporting within fulfillment centers

Qualifications & Skills

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 2 years of Amazon full-time (blue badge) experience
• At least 2 years of employee and performance management experience
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with KPIs, Lean, or process improvement methodologies
• Background in logistics, supply chain, operations, engineering, or business
• Experience working in fast-paced or international environments
