Storekeeper Job – Sharjah American International School (Immediate Joining)

Sharjah American International School is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Storekeeper for an immediate joining opportunity in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for candidates with strong inventory management skills, computer literacy, and prior experience in structured institutional environments such as schools.

The school places high importance on organized facilities and efficient supply systems that support students, teachers, and administrative staff. The Storekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining accurate stock control, ensuring timely availability of materials, and supporting smooth day-to-day school operations.







Role Overview

The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of school supplies and materials. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with internal departments and external vendors. Previous experience in a school or educational institution will be considered a strong advantage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming materials and supplies
  • Maintain updated inventory records and monitor stock levels regularly
  • Issue and distribute items to staff and students based on approved requests
  • Identify and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies in stock
  • Ensure storage areas are clean, safe, and well organized at all times
  • Coordinate with vendors and administrative teams regarding supply requirements
  • Prepare routine inventory reports and assist during audits

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate or diploma in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory control
  • Experience in a school or institutional environment is an added advantage
  • Ability to join immediately

Additional Employer Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of work experience with computer literacy
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel
