Job Purpose

The Cashier is responsible for delivering fast, accurate, and secure financial transaction services to customers. This includes handling cash transactions, remittances, cheque processing, and foreign currency exchange while ensuring full compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and established operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Outstanding Customer Service

• Welcome customers warmly and provide a professional service experience.
• Assist both retail and corporate clients in line with the company's customer service standards.
• Clearly explain transaction procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote relevant financial products and services to customers when appropriate.
• Ensure efficient transaction processing to minimize customer waiting times.
• Direct customers to the appropriate department for specialized assistance when required.

Support Business Growth

• Process transactions while maintaining profitability and service quality.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell financial products and encourage customer enrollment in available programs.
• Build strong customer relationships to increase transaction volumes and expand the customer base.

Ensure Operational Accuracy & Compliance

• Process cash, remittances, and foreign exchange transactions with a high level of accuracy.
• Follow established cash-handling procedures and maintain balanced cash drawers at all times.

• Comply with all Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and UAE regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Cashier, Teller, or in a similar financial services role.
• Previous experience handling high-volume cash transactions is preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in computer applications and transaction processing systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
