About the Position
The Back Office Agent is responsible for managing and processing customer service requests, particularly those related to account activation and modifications. The role requires close collaboration with multiple internal teams while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and quality standards. The position plays an important part in improving operational efficiency and ensuring high customer service performance.
Main Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and assigning operational tasks using designated tools
- Processing customer account activations and modifications after verifying required documentation such as application forms, valid identification, residence visas, tenancy contracts, and NOCs
- Verifying customer and authorized personnel details against system records and official documentation
- Ensuring all requests include accurate activity descriptions and properly attached documents
- Executing assigned tasks and confirming request details through customer verification calls
- Updating concerned teams regarding request completion with relevant details including account numbers, work orders, and site schedules
- Maintaining accurate updates in CRM systems and operational trackers
- Coordinating with ITCRM, GIS, and Customer Service Management teams to resolve system-related concerns
- Creating and monitoring trouble tickets for network or system issues while ensuring SLA compliance
- Supporting urgent installation requests and escalated cases when required
- Following contact center, financial, and operational policies at all times
- Staying updated with process improvements, revised policies, and work procedures
Education Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Back Office Operations or Retail Operations
- Previous experience in call center or retail environments will be considered an advantage
Required Skills
- Strong motivation and result-oriented approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and analytical ability
- Capability to manage customer service requests from start to completion
- Professional communication skills across different organizational levels
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of enterprise systems such as Siebel, BSCS, POS, and Oracle is highly preferred
