Receptionist Cashier – Job Description

The Receptionist Cashier is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring smooth front desk and cashier operations. In this role, you will manage guest check-ins, process payments accurately, handle reservations, and support daily restaurant or club operations with professionalism and attention to detail.

Using the Micros Symphony system, you will record customer orders, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. You will warmly welcome guests, present menus and beverage options, recommend suitable items, and use effective upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience while contributing to business revenue.

You will also help maintain a clean and organized reception area, coordinate table availability, reset tables according to reservation schedules, and ensure guests receive accurate bills promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the Micros Symphony system.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain balanced cash floats.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional customer service.
• Present menus, recommend food and beverages, and promote additional offerings through upselling.
• Keep the reception and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Address guest inquiries and communicate concerns to management for prompt resolution.
• Coordinate table clearing and resetting based on reservation schedules.
• Prepare and issue accurate bills in a timely manner.
