📍 Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Source and purchase non-halal meat products from international suppliers
• Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply
• Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies
• Maintain optimal inventory levels

🔹 Supplier & Vendor Management

• Identify and onboard certified global meat suppliers
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations
• Negotiate pricing and long-term contracts
• Maintain vendor compliance documentation

🔹 Purchase Order & ERP Management

• Prepare and issue purchase orders through ERP systems
• Track shipments and coordinate delivery schedules
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics teams

🔹 Import Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with UAE Municipality food regulations
• Manage customs clearance documentation
• Maintain product traceability records
• Adhere to international health certification standards

Cross-Functional Coordination

Procurement and Category Specialists collaborate closely with:

• Quality Assurance (QA) teams
• Quality Control (QC) specialists
• Warehouse supervisors
• Cold storage teams
• Logistics and distribution partners

This ensures:

• Temperature-controlled product handling
• HACCP-based safety compliance
• Packaging and shelf-life verification
• Supplier audit compliance

Cost Control & Reporting

• Conduct monthly cost variance analysis
• Monitor procurement budgets
• Analyze international meat pricing trends
• Generate sourcing performance reports
• Identify bulk purchasing and lead-time optimization opportunities

Strong analytical skills and strategic decision-making abilities are essential for this role.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in FMCG or meat industry procurement
• Hands-on experience with ERP procurement systems
• Expertise in international sourcing and vendor negotiation
• Strong knowledge of UAE import/export regulations
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in frozen meat sourcing or food compliance auditing.
