Role Overview – Storekeeper (Lexus Ras Al Khaimah)

The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing workshop store operations and ensuring efficient handling of materials, tools, and consumables. The role supports smooth workshop functioning by maintaining inventory accuracy and assisting the Workshop Manager with administrative and operational tasks.

This role involves working closely with supervisors, technicians, controllers, and workshop teams in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Procuring workshop tools, consumables, equipment, and technical manuals as required
• Receiving and inspecting materials to confirm quality and quantity standards
• Maintaining accurate stock records for issued and returned items
• Assisting with inventory checks, audits, and attendance tracking
• Ensuring proper storage and safety compliance within store areas
• Monitoring damaged or waste stock and coordinating disposal procedures
• Providing administrative assistance to the Workshop Manager

Skills and Experience Required

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in stock or store management
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (SAP experience is an added advantage)
• Good English communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to maintain accuracy while working in a busy workshop environment

Educational Qualifications

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Automotive or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper in an automotive workshop
• Strong coordination, analytical, and interpersonal skills
