About the Role

The Cashier – Sports Retail position focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring accurate and efficient transaction handling. You will play a key role in enhancing the in-store experience and supporting overall sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate product pricing in the system
• Handle cash transactions and verify daily totals
• Check currency denominations and ensure correct rates
• Perform security checks on cards, cheques, and banknotes
• Remove security tags from purchased items
• Inform customers about promotions, offers, and vouchers
• Ensure full responsibility for cash handling and till security
• Assist customers with pricing and product-related queries
• Count and balance the cash drawer at the start of each shift
• Follow store procedures for opening and closing tills
• Support the sales team on the floor when required
