Role Overview

The Cashier plays an important role within the dealership environment, acting as the main point of contact for customers during payment transactions. Key Responsibilities

Cashiers at Gargash Group will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide customers with accurate receipts, refunds, credit notes, and exchange details.
  • Greet customers professionally and assist them with inquiries related to payments or services.
  • Escalate unresolved concerns to supervisors when required to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all customer interactions.
  • Count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Identify and report any financial discrepancies immediately.
  • Maintain proper financial documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Assist other departments such as sales, service, and spare parts when necessary.
  • Follow company compliance and security policies to protect financial and customer information.
  • Prepare transaction summaries and reports for the finance department.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Suggest ideas that can improve customer experience and transaction efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience as a cashier or in a similar financial transaction role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong numerical skills with basic knowledge of accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and financial software.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
