About the Role

The Coordinator – Cargo Operations is responsible for supporting cargo movement and warehouse operations at Dubai World Central (DWC). The role includes coordinating with Ground Handling Agents (GHA), maximizing aircraft cargo capacity, monitoring cargo inventory, and ensuring all cargo operations comply with airline safety standards and operational procedures.

The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse teams, ramp operations, and airline staff to ensure import and export shipments are processed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor aircraft cargo capacity to maximize cargo uplift.
• Coordinate daily activities with Ground Handling Agents (GHA).
• Support warehouse, ramp, and aircraft cargo operations.
• Handle cargo build-up, breakdown, delivery, and customer service activities.
• Ensure compliance with Flydubai Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Safely manage dangerous goods, perishables, valuables, live animals, courier shipments, and diplomatic mail.
• Monitor warehouse operations and assist with cargo tracing and repacking.
• Coordinate Quick Ramp Transfer (QRT) cargo activities.
• Maintain cargo inventory, Unit Load Devices (ULDs), accessories, and thermal blankets.
• Prepare operational reports and support Cargo Officers.
• Ensure timely processing of import and export cargo.
• Report operational issues, safety concerns, and irregularities promptly.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• High School Diploma.
• 2–4 years of experience in cargo handling, airport logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Fluent in English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Dangerous Goods Regulations (CBTA 7.3A) certification is an advantage.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
• Good understanding of airport cargo handling procedures and aviation safety standards.
