About the Role

As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for handling daily warehouse inventory activities, including receiving goods, issuing materials, maintaining stock records, and ensuring that all inventory is stored safely and efficiently. The role requires close coordination with procurement, logistics, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate stock management.

Candidates should have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining company inventory standards.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Receiving and inspecting incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Verifying the quality and quantity of received goods.
• Storing materials, tools, and equipment in designated locations.
• Issuing inventory based on approved material requests.
• Recording all inventory transactions using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems.
• Conducting regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or excess inventory.
• Ensuring proper labeling and safe storage of all warehouse items.
• Preparing inventory reports and stock movement records.
• Coordinating with procurement, finance, and logistics departments.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and following all safety procedures.
• Supporting inventory control initiatives to reduce stock loss and improve efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in warehouse operations.
• Good understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures.
• Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and material handling practices.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
