Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection

• Assist in unloading and inspecting incoming materials, including spare parts, HAZMAT items, and Petroleum, Oils & Lubricants (POL)
• Verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the logistics team immediately

Storage & Organization

• Ensure proper labeling, racking, and placement of materials
• Maintain clean, organized, and accessible storage areas
• Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory procedures

Issuing & Dispatch

• Issue materials against approved requisitions
• Prepare items for dispatch with accurate documentation
• Support safe packaging and transportation of materials

Inventory Control Support

• Update stock records in ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP under supervision
• Assist with cycle counts, audits, and stock reconciliation
• Monitor inventory levels and report critical shortages

Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

Safety is a top priority at Etihad Rail. Store Assistants must strictly comply with QHSE, COSHH, and company safety policies. Responsibilities include maintaining hazard-free storage areas, using appropriate PPE, and following safe handling procedures—especially for HAZMAT materials. Qualifications & Skills Required
